We were out in the high mountains of central Nevada and I talked our group into a sidetrip to check out this mine camp. It turned out to be a small camp with not much left but interesting just the same. It was a rich cinnabar mine that was mainly worked in the 1920's. The mine consists of two shafts both of which are caving and not worth going in.
