This is a large solitary panel in a nice shady canyon of eastern Utah. Petroglyphs from the Ancestral Puebloan (Anazasi), Fremont, and modern Ute are present. Multiple cultures have used the site for a long period of time, but why this spot? We may never know.
Mule Tack Mine Cabin
We knew this was going to be a challenging place to reach, mainly due to the long hike and canyon crossing. Knowing that we were in for it, we decided to backpack in. It was a good choice.
