Not its real name, this silver mine, high in the mountains of Central Idaho, was a really fun one to explore. It’s a very wet mine, but we found a few ore cars and a flooded shaft station inside.
The mine was first worked in 1882, but major production didn’t start until 1924 when a mill and tram were installed. Work lasted only a few short years, and the mine went idle. It operated again briefly in the 1940s.
