Lida Wash, in the Palmetto Mountains of western Nevada, doesn’t see a whole lot of traffic. While on our way to another petroglyph site, we spotted these very faint petroglyphs carved into volcanic ash.
The petroglyphs appear to be of the Desert Archaic Abstract style. They blend in very well and are incredibly hard to see.
